Oh my goodness! The smile!!! The smile is back!!!! What a joy to see that look on your sweet little boy's face!!!! I am thrilled and praising God for what he has done ... and what he is yet to do!!!!
Beautiful boy! Hang in there and know that many, many people are praying for you - and more importantly, God has you by the hand and WILL lead you out of this.
What a joy to see Samuel's smiles. Thank you for all of your updates here and on caringbridge. You don't know me - I heard of your family through a friend adopting from Ethiopia through your agency. My family and I have been praying for Samuel and your family and you're always in our thoughts. Atta boy, Samuel - keep it up!!!!
Samuel and your entire family continue to be in our prayers, and the prayers of our church, friends, and family. You continue to find the positives in each day, and I just know that your attitude and faith will rub off on Samuel -- that and his fighting spirit will pull him through! Nigate and Amsalu love looking at the boys' pictures and miss them.
We heard about your family from friend. We also have a son from Ethiopia and live in Milwaukee. We have been sharing this with a ton of people asking Christ to give your family strength, peace and joy in a time of trial. (James 1:2) What a beautiful smile on your little guy. We will continue to pray for a speedy recovery etc...Our little guy, Elijah Abraham (22 months old), has been praying with us for Samuel as well.
Oh such a PRAISE!! We will continue our prayers. We are even praying for you and your family every morning during our morning devotion (before our assignments). All 32 nurses!! God bless you and your strength.
Allison shared the news of your son's accident with others in the Canadian Ethiopian adoption community. I will be praying for you (and will ask others at church to do the same). It is hard to imagine one's child being so injured, especially while you are all still adjusting to life together. May God grant you all comfort and peace.
Carole my friend...I signed on to see if you were all better from the flu!! Imagine my shock at reading the current events in your life. I began praying the moment I read "morphine pump". I am still in shock. I wish I was close by to help. I will keep you, your son and family in my prayers and send a prayer request out to my friends and family. I know God will continue to hold you all in the palm of his hand. Love and Blessings, Jan

What a beautiful smile! My heart leaped to see these beautiful pictures of Sam this morning!
I'm just a hopeful ET adoptive parent who stumbled across your blog, and who will hold your family in prayer constantly. God bless you.
What a boy you have there! I hope he continues to heal ~ I will continue to keep him in my prayers!
