Over on the caringbridge.org site for Samuel (where I have been posting of Sam's remarkable progress) we have had so many inquiries about the upcoming benefit being given for us by the Sullivan EMS. I can't scan the flyer to put in the format so I'm going to attempt here.

How can those of us outside your area help with the benefit?
We have decided to eat pancakes that day in Memphis and send our donation by mail in Sam's behalf.
Your family is in our thoughts and prayers. I wish we were closer and could offer our support/friendship in person.

Hi there - I just came across your blog. My husband and I are in the process of adopting from Ethiopia and live in Racine. Your boys are beautiful and I'm so sorry to read about the accident. We would love to come to the benefit!

Hey Carole and Marty,
Elijah, Amanda, and I have been praying hard for your little Sam to heal quickly and be in no pain. Everytime I tell Elijah we need to pray for Samuel and he always says "owie, pray". Then we proceed to pray for healing quickly etc...
I know Christ will be glorified through all of this, and through Sam's life.
